Why buy from Bikes direct?
Excellent independent bike shop tucked away on the outskirts of Dorking. Good selection of interesting bikes at pretty good prices (not like some of the more pretentious outfits in the town). They also carry a good range of spares and are always available to give sound advices on all aspects of buying or tweaking.
They also offer a very reasonably priced bike service with a decent turnaround.
Easy to find - just head up to Dorking West station (easy parking) and you'll see them.
A great little shop with a very large stock, catering to all ages and abilities. I've received excellent service from Bikes Direct, especially with my recent purchase of a Giant road bike. First class for information, demo rides, bike set-up and spec adjustments. Very impressed with the owner Max - really eager to please, Graham the sales assistant is always very helpful and they have a fabulous mechanic - Jon. Competitive pricing and very reliable.
I was introduced to Max (the owner) via the Bike Bean Cafe in Ashtead and they were right, he couldn't be more helpful. They have a great range of stock, offer great advice for all types of riders and Max even goes the extra mile to dropping items off to me at home (something he'd do for anyone I might add). As a business they're also a great supporter of Emma's Bubble Trust a local charity and support various other charitable events throughout the course of a year. If you purely want some advice pop along, any of the staff would be more than willing to help.
The service from Bikes Direct to help me get everything on the bike just 'perfect', was really top notch. It made the whole buying experience enjoyable and easy.
I will now be a long term customer at Bikes Direct because when you find a business that provide service as excellent as Bikes Direct, why would you go anywhere else!
